В этих предложениях используются достаточно популярные у англоговорящих ассимиляции:

let me –> lemme

give me –> gimme

Иногда ассимиляция случается сама собой, а иногда, где слияние отлично бы подошло, говорящий может отдельно выделить два слова, с паузами. Это зависит от скорости речи, обстановки, в которой происходит коммуникация.

У говорящего есть выбор, что использовать: удерживание и сцепку, элизию, ассимиляцию. Или вот конкретно здесь слияние?

Вам даны инструменты, а как их использовать в речи – дело Ваше. Вы можете говорить с сильным акцентом, и Вас будут слушать с удовольствием, не испытывая никакого дискомфорта.

И даже если Вы не собираетесь использовать такую продвинутую линковку, приемы знать все же необходимо, чтобы понимать быструю устную речь.
