Например:

При линковке гласного звука [ɪ] в дифтонге со следующим гласным звуком, звук [ɪ] может трансформироваться в [j] во фразах типа say it, try it для удобства произношения.
При линковке дифтонга [oʊ] со следующим гласным звуком во фразах типа go out, звук [ʊ] в слове go может трансформироваться в [w]. Это ожидаемо и логично для более плавного произношения.
Во фразах, типа carry on, try on, звук [ɪ] не трансформируется.
